ROUND #5 - CHOREOGRAPHED MUSIC VIDEO

This round is new for the World XCM Tournament.

Make a choreographed music video.

- Choose the music of your choice, you can edit/modify the music to meet your needs.
- Make a routine TO THE MUSIC!
- Use presentation to strengthen your music video ie clothes, props, and so on.

The video itself must be uncut and unedited (except basic lighting corrections).

This video has a 4 minute maximum, however I expect most videos to be around 2-3 minutes or even shorter. It doesn't have to be long.

Concentrate on presentation with the music. You can use clothing, for example a ganster rap video where you wear ganster clothes, use rap beats and use a bling chain in your manipulation... or use classical and dress up in classic clothes and use props and so on... Style is key, and should fit the kind of music you have... slow and dramatic, to fast and furious depending on what Genre you are using.

All props are permitted, but keep the focus on the manipulation! You can use boxes/cases.... tables and anything else you would like to use. Props are surely not necessary. You can use dance/body movements and so on.

Think of making a routine that you could use for real performances on stage. If you put enough work into this, it could become a real routine that you can use to get paid work... so this round will become something you may end up using in the real world.



This round will test your creative abilities, your artistic abilities, your presentation abilities and of course your skill. It will also greatly help you grow as a performer.

REQUIREMENTS

VIDEO LENGTH
The video can be up to 4 minutes long. There are no restrictions on intro or outro other than the one mentioned below regarding text.

OBJECT TO SHOW BEFORE YOU START
Please show a music CD and your face somewhere in, before, or after your uncut routine. (objects are shown just before or after you finish your uncut manipulation so that we know the video was made just for our tournament.

VIDEO TEXT REQUIREMENT
Make sure you put WWW.SUPERHANDZ.COM AND WWW.HANDLORDZ.COM on your vids. Also put your battle # AND YOUR NAME (first) VS. then your opponents name last.

SPECIAL NOTE
Please do not use these videos to advertise other people or clubs/groups/things. These videos are exclusive to this tourney. Also please do not place titles on top of your videos such as move names and so on. Thanks!
